The Kingston Business Forum will be hosting a Business Summit on May 13th 

We would prefer to be meeting you all in person and recall our well attended 2019 meetings at Barwell Industrial Estate, Surbiton Racket and Fitness Club and Richard Challoner School

There is a lot to talk about amongst the business community we all contemplate come back from Covid-19. We’ve lined up guest speakers to provide very important perspectives on the future outlook and who want to understand what Kingston business is thinking.
The May 13th Summit ‘Coming back from Covid-19 Business Summit is the first online conference on the topic of Kingston’s economy. This borough will always strive to be a great place to live and a great place to do business. Sadly, like the rest of the country, jobs are being lost and some businesses have closed their doors for good. This post Covid-19 economy we are in will fully test our business community but it will also present wonderful opportunities.

Come to the Kingston Business Forum to with optimism and energy to hear how Kingston can recover. The format is a series of short presentations from MPs, Council Leaders and local business people. Ed Davey MP will provide a national perspective and an update on Covid-19 business support. Kingston Council’s new leader Caroline Kerr will outline the crucial Council tasks that help rebuild our local economy.
As we move into the afternoon Robin Hutchinson will remind us of the need to align Kingston residents contributions and passions to the local economy. Jayne McCoy (Deputy Leader Sutton) will be dialling in to share Economic Development success stories and inspiration from our friendly neighbouring borough.

For our final session, Sarah Olney MP for Richmond Park and who also undertakes the role of Liberal Democrat Spokesperson (Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy) will be running a Q&A with local businesses on Business Rates and Business Support. The Summit is organised by the Kingston Business Forum and hosted by members John Sweeney and Kate Pritchard.
